There is no doubt that Zazzle has it all! It’s mind-blowing how much stuff can be customized on Zazzle.com. Seriously, the only thing they don’t have on Zazzle is a real customizable baby that is delivered at one’s doorstep. The selection and variety in just clothes alone can keep a shopper busy for a loooooooooooong time. Need something to keep a teenager busy? Introduce him or her to Zazzle and they will be dazzled! Just bring them food and they can stay there for the entire summer break!
The other perk behind Zazzle versus Spreadshirt.com is the price. Everyone loves to save money and penny pinch even on the things we don’t need, and even though the price is only a few dollars or cents lower than prices on Spreadshirt, it still saves money at the time of purchase.
So now, the other side of the coin… ever heard, “You get what you pay for?” or “Cheap comes expensive in the long run”? Spreadshirt sells at higher prices than Zazzle and above other sites, but there is no doubt that the quality of print and the quality of the clothes far exceeds that of Zazzle.
Ok, so here is a true story- I purchased a long-sleeve baseball tee with print on the back side a couple of months ago, and I wear the shirt quite often. In the same order, I ordered a track jacket with print on the back side, and they both arrived at the same time. A couple weeks ago, I ordered a long sleeve shirt with buttons at the neck with print on the front. These three pieces of clothes all have the same design… I’m weird, and I like to look the same every day, so I print my clothes with the same design… Don’t Judge!
…Back to the true story, the two pieces from Spreadshirt arrived looking amazing, smelled funny, but they looked great. After I have washed the pieces many times, the print still looks amazing! There is no flaking, cracks, nor peeling. When the one shirt arrived from Zazzle, the shirt didn’t smell as bad as Spreadshirt, there was and continues to be a square around my design that isn’t part of the design, and the print was faded when I opened the package, and it faded more after the wash. The shirt is thin, and is alright quality.
Don’t get me wrong, The shirt from Zazzle is still wearable, and I like the shirt, but it’s not the same as that of Spreadshirt. The package from Zazzle came with a note informing that the square around the design will wash out after the first wash, but it didn’t wash out completely. Maybe I see it because I know it’s there.
In the end, I spent less for a shirt on Zazzle, it arrived fast, the website is much easier to use, there are always discounts available, and the variety and selection of stuff is incredible; however, Spreadshirt has an easy check out, better print, better quality of clothes, but the quality adds a few dollars to the transaction total. Either way, both sites are amazing in their own way, and we hope one day a mega site will cover it all: quality, selection, variety, user friendly, and fast.
So there you have it! My experience with Spreadshirt quality versus Zazzle quality.
